I'm stunned by this inadequate standard, and outraged that there is no recognition by #CMS that more funding is needed. I observed what were considered "good" nursing homes/SNFs/assisted living several times over the past 10 years - and the current "good" staffing often leaves patients/residents unattended for unacceptable periods of time - and STAFF ARE STRESSED. this is not good for anyone. And underpaying staff is bad practice for so many reasons.
