It just hit me that two days after taking the state #skills #exam for my #CNA #license I will be registering for #fall #semester at #SRJC.

My wifey @tiesa graduated tonight from the #CNA program tonight . One step closer my love . Congratulations.

Today marks five days until we are finished with the #clinical part of the #CNA course I am taking.

This #experience has been an eye opener into how our #healthcare system cares for our #elderly. Which is as little as possible, as quickly as possible.

I won’t be able to enter the #nursing program until 2025 most likely. However, I will be able to work as a #CNA while taking required courses and build work history.

For the first time in a very long time I feel like I have a #future.

Just finished the reading and workbook parts for module 1 of my #CNA course. Just three more modules to complete before Wednesday, but those rare much smaller.

My biggest setback with being a student has always been procrastination. One of my goals with this program is to break that cycle and develop good study habits.

I have a really positive end goal so making sure I succeed is very high on my list.

Every time I hear about the #rescue efforts in #syria and #turkiye I wish that I already had my #CNA so I could go and #volunteer and be helpful.

Then I remember, I am #transgender. So, I search on if it is #safe to #travel to find places like Türkiye and Syria for people like me.

Then it hits me, I have to search on this bullshit before traveling anywhere, even in my own #country! Because I am #trans!

I can’t stop being trans, so hopefully others can change to be more accepting.
