What made it even more special was her infectious excitement throughout the drive home. She couldn't stop talking!

While my travel team’s #Softball 🥎 season hasn’t gone as well as I hoped, my rec team has been on fire 🔥! Another double header sweep tonight, hot off the heels of another win in their lone game last night.

Two weeks before the end of season rec tournament and everything is clicking for them!

They have been a fantastic group to coach, energetic, get along great with each other, supportive and just outright FUN to be around!

Exciting update from our first rec softball games! Finished with a 1-1 record, a solid start for the team. Softball sure brings unexpected moments, especially with inexperienced players. Tonight was a valuable learning experience. Players gained insights, and coaches taught what we could on the fly. More to cover in our next practice—dropped third strike, signs, catch organization between innings. Overall a fun and successful start to the season! 🥎

🥇 Exciting news! My high school boys' team dominated both #Soccer matches this week, defeating the same opponent (who was in first place) twice within three days. They snatched 6 points, winning 3-1 and 4-0! Our record now sits at .500 with one match remaining (3-1-3). So proud of their growth this season! ⚽️🙌

It’s been awhile since I last posted, so it’time for an update.

I have been busy as both #YouthSports #Coach ing seasons (#Soccer and #Softball) have ramped up with soccer practices M/W and softball Sun/T; soccer matches Sat/Sun.

I have also been trying to work on my #DiscGolf game by squeezing in 9-holes whenever I can after work and before practice.

Sadly, no #Hiking the past couple weeks.

It's drizzling and overcast #Today, but this is one of the days I have been looking forward to for the past few months as tonight will be our first #Soccer practice of the season! Excited to have players back on the field and I'm (more than) ready to get started.

Productive evening on the course! Drained a 42 ft putt (Inner Core) and threw another in from ~75 ft. (Zone). Plus I beat the boy for the second night in a row 😜.

I’m finally settling in for the night. It’s been a busy day that started with a walk this morning, work, a dental checkup, and #Softball practice to close the night. Sadly, my wife and I hardly got to see each other before she passed out for the night.

Softball practice, on the other hand, was highly productive! Always great when you can end practice and feel like it was quality work all around, and players had fun. Hopefully, we can keep that momentum going. #CoachTimDCVIII

Pitchers:
- Individual work with our assistant coach on mechanics

It’s another blah day outside here. Gray skies, no sunshine ☀️, wet but not raining at least.

I have already had 3 long meetings this morning and have 4 more on the schedule for #today. No complaints, just another day at the (home) office.

Decided it’s time to make that 2nd batch of #Coffee and stretch my legs for a minute.

Tonight we have #Softball practice so that will be a very welcomed change of pace #CoachTimDCVIII 🥎 :coachtim_masto:

Tonight is the beginning of getting back into #Softball 🥎 season for my #YouthSports team. Regular indoor practices start back up and we will be working hard to prepare for our first tournament in May.

If anyone has suggestions for batting cage drills or games, please pass them along. Always ISO fresh ideas to keep players engaged.

#Coaching update:

Registered for our last youth summer #Softball tournament today. Between fall 2022 through summer 2023, we will have played in 12 tournaments! 💥

Weekly indoor winter practices start next week, and our first spring/summer tournament will be in May.

I also coach Club high school #Soccer which will start back up in March or April, depending on the weather.

Going to start getting extremely busy for me in no time l, but I love it.

November and December are those weird off-season months for me where I’m not coaching every night of the week.

Tonight is my one December coaching commitment, and I’m excited to be heading out the door shortly to head to training.

Came out on the wrong side of a very competitive game 3 on the day. Tough 3-2 loss. Extremely proud of how all of our girls played! A lot of them were up by 5am and we didn’t finish until 8:30 pm. Long day, lots of fun, lessons learned and that’s a wrap on our fall season. #softball #coachtimdcviii
