This spot was/is my favorite place to photograph regularly when I can. The parking lot has great views of the beach and up the coast and was always a place I could calm down any season any time.

another milky water coastal shot. 5m tidal change on this stretch of coast. This is mid tide and the tide was coming in. Probably had to move several times while waiting for the sun to rise. Always a great adventure. Trying not to slip on the rocks in the dark.

Longtime surfer, up and down the west coast for 50 years...

I should know that short little pier but I do not. I kind of want to guess. But I don't want to embarrass myself.

It's not old enough to be Paradise Cove, I kind of think it's Cayucos but they have shops halfway up the pier.

There's an oil pier just south of Rincon, near Carpenteria.

Goodness.

The longer I stared the photograph the more questions I have, end of my misery please...
