接下來就來聊聊 #10BASE2
先說說 10BASE2 這個詞是什麼
它主要是在規範網際網路協定上面實體層的標準
通常用 OOOBASE-X 來表示
舉個例子常見的 1G 雙絞線網路就被稱為 1000BASE-T
前面標示速度
後面標示介質
其中-T表示 #雙絞線 的意思
常看到的 10G 沿用 Cat6 或是 Cat6A 線材被稱為 10GBase-T
而10G 光纖網路就比較複雜
因為 #光纖 的規格眾多
所以像是 10GBASE-SR、10GBASE-LR 都是 10G網路的標準
回到 10BASE2
指的就是 10Mbps 網路
透過同軸纜線與 BNC 端子連接各個終端裝置
只需要額外的線材不需要額外的 #Hub 或是 #Switch 就能串聯多台電腦
當然缺點很明顯
每個裝置之間沒有獨立頻寬
而且要等待一次的傳輸結束後
才能繼續下一次的傳輸
到了 100Mbps
協定中就沒有透過同軸傳輸的標準了

先介紹一下同軸網路的主角 #同軸電纜 #Coaxial cable
同軸電纜因為整條線的構成都共用同一個中心軸線而得名
因此把同軸線剪開會獲得一個同心圓
同軸線主要由四個元素構成，由內而外分別為：
中心導體、絕緣隔離材料、金屬隔離材料以及外部絕緣材料
在現代的人家中
同軸線最常見的應用就是電視訊號線
從最早期的無論是無線電視
或是後來的有線電視
即使是現在的數位電視搭配網路機上盒
部分廠商仍然也會使用同軸電路來進行訊號傳輸
相信圖中的壁插大家應該不陌生
這個 #F端子 後面所跑的線路就是同軸電纜
在台灣最常被使用在電視訊號的用途
而同軸電纜因為每公尺的造價低廉
並且其抗干擾、抗凹折的能力也不遜色
因此在光纖線尚未普及的時候
同軸線就是主要被廣域鋪設的電信通訊纜線之一
這也埋下了廣域網路發展的其中一個伏筆
