REAPER7のプリリリース版が出ていたので弄ってみました。

Containerというのが出来て、大量のプラグインをコンテナに入れて保存したり呼び出したりできるようになってます。

Cointainerに読み込んだ各プラグインの任意のパラメーターをContainer自体のパラメーターにすることも出来ます。

今まではTrack Templateを使わなければいけなかったエフェクトチェインの使い回しがスッキリと出来るようになってます。

例えばReaSampleO’matic5000を20個くらい読み込んで、それをドラムキットとして保存できます。

そしてコンテナーもトラックも最大チャンネル数が128チャンネルになったので、1トラックの中に128パラアウト出来るキットを作れるのです。

ノートナンバー全部をそれぞれパラアウト出来るという凄さ。

This is among the reasons why I perpetually financially support #Cockos #Reaper and its active community/content/dev figures, as it's among the few pro #audio software suites which is permanently priced very reasonably, and yet does not lock out unregistered users from the software and even its full features. Reaper for Linux starts looking up.

Reaper is a powerful Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) / music production tool and its creators Cockos are now offering Linux builds, yet still officially unsupported.

On the actual music creation, Linux with JACK has better latency than Spydows' ASIO, so how about that!

The DAW will also compensate for the playback latency automatically after recording.
