I've mixed my first White Negroni and I'm rather pleased with it! #cocktails

Tonight’s #cocktail is a Zapoteca, which I suppose is a #Negroni variant — it’s made of an ounce each of mezcal, Punt e Mes, and Amer Picon (the latter homemade), with a couple dashes of Amargo Chuncho. If you don’t have Amer Picon, you can sub Bigallet China-China. #cocktails #booze @drinkstodon

I use Cointreau, but no fancy gin or anything else.

A very summery Martini with Citadelle Jardin d’Ete gin, Dolin Dry, and Sother Teague’s Garden Party Bitters, 2oz, 1oz, 2 dashes respectively. Lemon twist.

Olive brine is the classic way to "dirty" a drink. Punch magazine has the lowdown on some of the other ingredients bartenders are using, from charred onion scraps to apple cider vinegar and toasted sesame, plus recipes for a Trash-Tini, Dirty Dog and Dirty Martini Highball.

Doing some #cocktails in honor of Mr. Blue's fantasy draft. I'll let you know if any are really good.

#cocktails Today, a margarita — of course — 1.5 oz tequila, .25 oz mezcal, .75 oz dry curaçao, 1 oz lime juice. The rim is a combo of sriracha salt and honey powder granules. Quite the taste treat!

What I've learned so far is that I like a long, strong cocktail, probably with fruity flavors, especially citrus.

(I suspect the Blue Lagoon was a misfire. I like Cointreau and Triple Sec, so I should like Blue Curacao. But I felt yucky afterwards.)
