I’m trying out Zed #CodeEditor lately as a replacement for #SublimeText and I think it’s great! Native and fast, with some smart workflow decisions (like editable multibuffer or temporarily expandable panels) and with Copilot/ChatGPT built in. I feel at ease and highly productive when I use it.

It doesn't yet support some of the languages I use at work (#Elm and #Fsharp), but #TypeScript and #Rust support is great.

Since I started working in a different location about 3 weeks ago, the lighting conditions made me change my VSCode editor theme and I briefly went back to Monokai but wanted something less brown so I'm trying out Github Dark Classic which feels a little better and is just the right amount of contrast I think. I wanted to try a light theme but can't seem to find one that feels right.

My #Nova license came up for renewal at the end of March and I’m debating whether to renew.

I like it so much more than VSCode, primarily because its the only “Mac-assed” code editor of it’s kind that I know and I want to support #PanicInc.

I want to keep using it but there hasn’t been an update in several months, and maybe I just don’t know the right people but the community doesn’t seem as strong as it once was.

Que legal! Eu achei no F-Droid um bom editor de códigos que funciona no celular (vide imagem no toot).

É enxuto (sem muita frescura), estável (não trava e nem gica escondendo as coisas por bugs), e tem todo o básico de recursos que eu preciso (Undo, Redo, Tab, Arrows, Find, Subst, Brake Rows, Highlights, font size, Memória de recém abertos).
