On a recent episode of #CoderRadio, they shared the phrase "Patriot Act for the Internet" RE: #RestrictAct, which really brought the gravity of the situation home.
Had a long talk w/my spouse, and this was the last straw for us. I'm sure the other fascist moves by Republicans are playing into this as well.
So we're researching moving overseas if this passes.
Dear #jupiterbroadcasting and #coderradio fans. I have a problem.
I recently attended a LUP meetup and put my name in the hat for a prize and WON!
The gift was this perfect and glorious robe.
Problem is, I already have one that I love!
Who wants me to ship this to them? :)

Just finishing up editing on the cursed episode of #CoderRadio
Not only was recording delayed due to Mike's health issues, but editing was delayed from last night because I was too sick from COVID.
I can only hear accurately out of one ear, but I think it came out pretty damn good.
Should have it out to y'all in the next couple of hours. Thanks for your patience!
Normally, I start my Saturdays w/ #CoderRadio & my morning coffee. No new episode has been released, so...drawing board!
Decided with #CodeNewbiePodcast followed by #CompleteDeveloperPodcast, and the day just feels different. The thoughts they brought out of me felt like a smoother on-ramp to the day. So I'll make Coder Radio an afternoon listen.
So take a look at the info you feed yourself first thing in the morning, it makes a difference!

Ok, hear me out @ChrisLAS and @dominucco ... The CoderWineBox is actually a double spout...
For those days you're coding front AND back end.
@ChrisLAS In coder 503 you advocate chatGPT like AI for your RV's wiring diagram. But how would it be any better than the website just having a make-model-variant selector as input and giving you the diagram in return? Sure you could apply AI here, but its not required as far as I can see ?
#CoderRadio #AI #chatgpt
100%! I laughed outright because this is totally me.
Re: Smart Assistants
“It turns out people putting these in their kitchens are doing two things. Listening to music and setting timers. “

I heard this on #CoderRadio today. Microsoft's $10B Bet on OpenAI | The Prompt https://anita.beehiiv.com/p/microsofts-10b-bet-openai | Interesting story. #ChatGPT
Getting lots of value out of my #coderradio robe! Streaming some #MTG arena in a few. Tune in! https://discord.gg/gUk8ncgW
Starting the day in style in my #CoderRadio robe! Any fellow robe-bros here in elephant-land?
@dominucco Is #GamerRadio going to be in its own feed, or should I just stay subscribed to #CoderRadio

Hey #CoderRadio premium members, the Coderly is coming soon. I just finished editing it, and I really enjoyed it.
In all honesty, Coder is one of my favorite shows to edit. Even if you're not a coder (I'm not), there's great business insights that I highly recommend checking out.
Hot, fresh #CoderRadio coming down the internet tubes tomorrow morning. I thought it was a really good one. Y'all enjoy.
"You can't judge a book by its cover, and this week we surprised each other when we dug into the HP Dev One. Plus some insights on remote virtual dev desktops and the gotcha's from WWDC we missed."

Heard about #FastAPI in the latest #CoderRadio episode and checked it out. It looks very impressive and I'm considering moving my WIP Django app to it 👌
Just listened to today's #coderRadio—very shocked to hear that it's the final one.
Seven years is a long time for anything, especially a podcast—so I understand the decision.
Still, it feels like the end of an era and I'll be sad to see it go. Their recent series on 7 languages in (more than) 7 weeks has been a real highlight!
