A4: Ezio Faraone, the park we gather in weekly for the aforementioned #CoffeeOutside in #yeg / #Edmonton, is located right on a major north-south active path that connects downtown and the University of Alberta across the river, as well as another that also connects the west side of the city.

It makes it a natural gathering place for people walking and rolling. It also helps that it has zero vehicle parking.

What's remarkable is how many engaged city builders come together every week to just chill and shoot the s*** (in one case today, someone literally helping build our latest mass transit expansion).

One newcomer commented how many locals keep showing up at the Winter Cycling Congress.

And it's true; Edmontonians show up!

I created yeg.bike basically to be a home for the #yeg #CoffeeOutside community (and beyond of course) away from the other place.

It's a bit of a catch-22 though, where people don't want to leave the other place because that's where the rest of the community is, but the rest of the community won't leave for the exact same reason.

But if the community could all came over together, then it wouldn't be an issue anymore. I just don't know how to drive that.
