We did. As noted yesterday, there were several flaws in the construction of the study…not the least of which is that greenhouse gas emissions are but one aspect of pollution.

I feel a little bad for the author of the study, as the media jumped it out way ahead of its intended scope, and used it to anoint PODs as acceptable.

But really, a lesson that conclusions that upend the consensus, or even just commonly held belief, require extraordinarily strong evidence and an artful explanation.

This study failed on both of those counts.
