So, @kimilbery and I just announced we will be shutting down our coffee roasting side business. I have a lot of feelings and they are mixed. We’ve had a lot of fun and learned a lot in the process but it’s time to move on to whatever’s next. I’m definitely still super into coffee so I’ll still be doing coffee stuff, but now I will be doing them for me. Thank you to everyone who supported us! :neofox_cofe: :neofox_heart:

All roasteries keep inventory; this includes raw materials, work-in-progress, supplies used in operations, and finished goods.

Inventory can be as simple as a bucket to keep your roasted beans or as complex as a mix of raw materials and subassemblies used as part of a more extensive manufacturing process.

Coffee aged in bourbon barrels! Tastes and smells like bourbon and apple.
My daily driver is Aeropress (inverted) with steel filter but I'll have to try making this in a French press next.

Any out there? How do you keep track of your roasts? Here's my log book. The roaster I have (hottop) has a model you can connect to a computer and do all this with software, but I prefer this analog method
