I took this photo two years ago, on New Year's Even 2020. It had been a rough year for many, and I was hoping the new year would improve the covid situation. It wasn't to be, but on that day, I was hopeful. Desptite living in our village for 20 years at that stage, this was my first time taking that footpath.
