@emmanuelwald yeah the US Church has some unique cultural threads the rest of the West does not. Theonomy normally is also combined with Americanized view of Scripture support Capitalism, Democracy, Guns, & military as Biblical. It doesnt take much pushback for them to back down cause they don’t know why they believe any of it. @MaMotta #coldwartheology is the name I gave to the #theological stew that has completely enveloped #americanevangelicalism. It goes back to the colonial settlements but in the 1920s before becoming fully embraced im American Culture & Christianity during the Cold War.
