So getting back into Super Space Acer, finally. I updated to the latest SDCC because I couldn't figure out which version I was last working with! ;) This was a fairly big task...

I do my own banking code, but the ihex format that SDCC outputs doesn't contain any information about which bank data is going to. I hacked the linker and was able to re-hack the newest one to output tags into the ihex file, which sadly break the file but I don't care much. ;) (It occurs to me now that if I just had it write the data to a dummy address that would work and not break the file...)

Sadly, from 3.0 or 3.5 to the current 4.2 or 4.3, a lot has changed. The code builds but doesn't run... rebuilding my library got me to the title page, so I know the basics work. But now I need to start going through every part and seeing what else broke... ugh.

Would have stayed on the old compiler, but this one is supposed to optimize better.

Guess I need to change the year again... ;)

A 1984 Silica Shop advert for the bizarre Coleco Adam - a collection of bolt-on bits that turned the ColecoVision games console into a business machine.

Despite the ‘complete package’ headline, the ColecoVision was not included in this bundle - so if you didn’t already have one, you had to add another £100.
