Maybe I was sheltered from life's realities, & for sure my prospects & the economy were in much better shape when I was their ages. But I'm wishing I knew better ways to ignite hope & excitement about growing up vs. the fear, dread, overwhelm & freeze or flight responses I'm met with over here. 2/

Opportunity costs need to be calculated in education and those calculations must be focused on the learners, not the school or system.
