While digging for affordable server #colocation, I came across EndOffice (https://endoffice.com/minicolo.html) who appears to odder Mini PC colocation for a super reasonable price. However, their order page has a note from 2020 saying to email them instead.

I #selfhost web and email off of three different #VPS instances and—more than anything else—I want more RAM. I’ve got a #NUC in my closet with 16GB of RAM, but I don’t wanting to be #selfhosting off of residential broadband.

I’d love to buy my own #1U #rackmount server, ship it to a #colocation site, and have it hooked up to power and networking for $50–75 a month. #Dedicated hosting, but owning the server itself. I’m not sure this is possible, at the amount I can afford to pay.

Rented can make sense if you do not want to worry about HW replacements or upgrades - even #onprem or in #colocation

Yah, I am not convinced #aws is the only way. Plenty of good reasons to use rented hardware or use #colocation
