Don’t take this wrong, but my question is - who wasn’t #colonized? The #1500s were a free-for-all. The English, the Dutch, the French, the Spanish, the Portuguese, the Russians & the #CatholicChurch tried to take over the planet. I hope I didn’t leave anybody out!

The #colonial & #colonized world, i.e. the world has a lot of serious problems. The govt's, systems, ways of living etc. are not sustainable.

There are a lot of situations now that are dire. Here in the US, the Democratic Party will not save us either. It will be bad for me, but I really feel for my children and grandchildren.

She is becoming more extreme, hates black people, loves white attention though she admits white people cause her to have panic attacks, she hates all empathetic politics, she doesn't think education should be free or anyone should be bailed out even though the bank forgave her mortgage. She has 5 kids and almost lost her home. #colonized

We live in my wife's community just outside of the #rez but enough to be within reservation radius to be included in community. There is actually a movement within young #Native #Entrepreneurs our age that like us are purchasing or renting and expanding the reservation radius to what it traditionally was. #LandReclamation and getting this #StolenLandBack has been a sight for sore eyes. Esp while my own ancestral land gets #colonized a second time around.

After centuries of #history being written by the victors for the victors, we're now rightly questioning #colonial histories and beginning to listen better to the stories of those #colonized.

I'm thinking of this as I listen to a sermon by #FlemingRutledge. Jesus was crucified by the #RomanEmpire, brutal and efficient #colonizers, at the insistence of their #colonized locals. None are righteous; no, not one. Jesus submitted himself to the fatal judgment of both colonist and colonized. Yet the #judgment that really matters is that of Jesus' #heavenlyFather, who raises him, and us, from death, vindicated, beloved, and forever welcome in our true home.
