So what's about a WIP of my process colorouring comics pages ? Here is a page of "Les frère Rubinstein vol 05".
Step 01 : Empty inked page
Step 02 : Putting flat colors to obtain a first color scheme which will determine the main way
Step 03 : adding somme drak and light values to put some lignting and refine the ambiance
Step 04 : repaint over everything to add volumes, lights, détails and deepth to the image !

Lately, I've been having a hard time putting on color on my own drawings, which is quite ironic when you're a color artist. But I try anyway :D
Each time, I feel I lost something in the process, like my brain-drawer can’t talk anymore with my brain-color. Very strange feeling :D #artistlife

My main work is color artist. I work in the franco-belge comics industry and I put colors on black and white pages.
I like working with all these teams of writers and drawers. A lot of projects each year, a lot of things learned and wonderfull drawings to work on !
