@virtuosew This actually very nice in it's simplicity and primitiveness. The vagueness and bright color choice for the town nestled in the mountains give the piece an atmospheric effect. Combined with what I choose to see as early morning sky colors, it feels like fog clinging to the ground and walls. That said, it does need something more, perhaps bright or dark contrast in the right side mountains. You are on to something. Take care not to overwork it, keep to the simplicity. Reminds me a little of Japanese watercolor technique or sumi.

I care a lot about colors and fonts because they are carriers of information. They give access to people, prevent them from harm, and add dimensions of meaning. Failure to consider these things leads to not everyone being able to participate. #a11y #ColorContrast

If you test #ColorContrast with an eyedropper tool, be aware that your system color management settings can affect your test results. For example, I keep my testing machine on an sRGB color profile because my contrast tester uses sRGB.

Here’s an easy test to see if you’re getting accurate results. Go to a site that displays hex codes. Take a sample of a color and compare to the hex code the site displays. Do they match? If not, you may need to change your color profile.
