#completeddrawing on #derwent louiest color pencil paper, it could only take at most two layers of #colourpencils before the surface would tear.
I tried it with #lightfast pencil but barely on the second layer, the surface would tear easily. So I tried it with derwent's procolour, it was only slightly better at 3 layers before it would tear at further attempts of layering.
Do not be fooled, it most certainly not color pencil paper.

I wanted to draw something from start to finish for once. Took me ca 2h to make this - which explains why I rarely practice or draw these days. I don't have that time, and if I want to get back on track I'll have to steal it. (Ssssscchhh! Don't tell anyone!) There is progress, though, I'm very pleased about that.

The purpose of this was to squeeze some colour out of the colour pencils - I tend to be too light-handed when I use them. I like how the criss-cross patterns of the background kind of lifts the flower.
