I need to get into the gear of arting again and up my fast-drawing skills. Thus I've started to challenge myself to finish one pic of the curator's prompt in 15 minutes. Didn't reach the goal this time, but it's a good start.

The purpose of this was to squeeze some colour out of the colour pencils - I tend to be too light-handed when I use them. I like how the criss-cross patterns of the background kind of lifts the flower.

I've realised I need to work a lot more on colour drawing (quite embarassing to discover when you're the one shouting "More! Colours!!! at the slightest provocation). So today I Bob Ross'ed a picture I saved on my phone. Enjoy this version of a winter wonderland!
