Fair Isle Friday is a bit early bc I'm busy tomorrow.
Moved to 2 circs to let my knitting sprawl a bit: I was concerned my colourwork tension was too tight as I worked a lot of stitches on 1 needle.
Viewed from the back the tension is improving.

Today I discovered that knitting Fair Isle and my Friday afternoon GnT don't mix well. 😬 I've already frogged 1 row and may have to frog another. I stopped trying to fix mistakes at 11pm. Try again tomorrow.

After careful measuring I've worked out that my Fair Isle piece...is probably too small for the recipient.
So: with much sighing and harrumphing, I've put it on a scrap yarn holder...and started again with a larger CO number.
In theory I can come back to it, ideally for myself, after I finish the bigger jersey.
_Much_ sighing. There's no way to knit 300+ sts per row quickly.

More processing of frogged Shetland yarn. After frogging and soaking, I spent 3 evenings of brainless TV on the ball winder. They'll go into the Fair Isle sweater or, if I'm lucky In quantities, secondary projects.

Cast on several hundred stitches for a sweater for a mate. Will do a bit more before confirming the gauge. Despite lots of math I'm worried it's going to be small.

It's that time of year when I wear my hand knitted jumpers.

I don't have loads to choose between because I don't have enough patience for many, but this is probably my fave (and it was my first) the #humulus sweater by Isabell Kraemer.
