So the deed I found for Ransom Jomberger was fascinating. It looks like on 1 Sept 1828, John Martin sold land to Philo Upsom and Ransom Sornberger for $ 5000 that I think included a $ 2500 mortgage - with payments due starting in 1830. Upsom and Sornberger didn't pay so Martin was able to sell the land at public auction on 29 Oct 1834.

It also had info on where to find the 1828 deed

So off to transcribe the 1828 deed . . .

#KatyHussey won her case, and now people are moving on to get consequences for the #ColumbiaCounty Sheriff’s Office deputy who threatened her and her partner, then lied about it
