I love how many of the fights involving Caldera and Hot Wings (2 bots that have fire/burn as part of thier weapon) are happening in Cage 2. Caldera got hugged to death (literally)

#NHRL has had more bot fires in this 2 day competition, more than I have seen in previous competitions.

Here's a wedge-shaped lifter. Obviously it would be good to print the final version in more of a cheese color, haha.

Anyway, this features proportional control and more full-fledged electronics. Power from the 9v battery goes directly to the 2 speed controllers (green), which give you proportional drive control. Power is also routed through the voltage regulator (yellow) to give lower voltage to the receiver (blue) and the servo (purple).

It's a work in progress!

This catbot is a kitbot for the local makerspace. Modified a thingiverse design to work for this purpose and I'm pretty pleased with the result!

Got my #makerspace project for tonight per @Madelinemakes awesome idea she gave me.

I got a motor I'm going to partially disassemble so I can make a weapon similar to how some of the big name bots do it in #combatrobotics . Will be fun tonight :)

Updated 150g bot is up and running. Features slower, higher torque motors and a bearing assembly supporting the weapon motor (hopefully protecting it from impacts).
