@Iamthebammbamm I've tried both. It drops randomly, (only thing that gets it working is power cycle), or has latency up the ass. I'm moving back to an area that has fiber from 3 providers compared to the alleged "live free or die" state that has Comcast, satellite, or my phone as Hotspot (9/10 times, my $40 straight talk 5g plan has better speeds and reliability than my $200 ass raping I get from #comcast).

....and....mysteriously my isps dns intercept turned on again. Internet was broken again until I turned on DoH again for my internal network but my iot stuff outside my firewall, directly connected to the cable modem (at L2) are (probably) not all working.

Time to sit on the phone with #Comcast again.

I would not have thought this possible 25 years after the commercial launch of HDTV, but #Comcast still sells an SD-only package--"Digital Bulk Starter," offered to multi-tenant managers who can then provide it as a low-value freebie to residents. This bundle has a good list of name-brand, non-sports channels, but it seems the only way for a resident in such a building to get an HD feed is to sign up for service on their own.
