Thinking about this again. It typically takes me 2 rounds to fully absorb a piece of media.

One - to enjoy the vibe
Two - to understand and appreciate it on a deeper level

It's been almost a year since my last period of diary comic productively, but it looks like a new cycle's beginning.

My process is coming back to me - fat pencil, thin pencil, dip pen, wash - after my last attempt reminded me that non-photo blue resists ink and is (ironically) a pain to remove.
