Pencils for The Lonesome Hunters: The Wolf Child. Lettering done in Adobe Illustrator and pencils done with a slightly modified “design pencil” in Clip Studio Paint. I do the lettering over my rough layouts and bring them into Clip Studio before I pencil, so I make sure I account for the space they will take up.

Well this stopped being a ‘sketch for a comic panel idea’ about 6 hours ago so now I’m calling it ‘concept art’. Since I discovered Paris has gun shops full of stuff you’d never see in my country my comic research is now mostly people watching in the Marais and wandering what everyone would look like armed to the teeth post l’apocalypse. Was obvs thinking about Simone Segouin too. #comicsprocess
