I watch a lot of movies & although I intentionally avoid watching teen angst "coming of age" movies, I've nonetheless seen 6 of these:

Bend it like Beckham (2002)
Ladybird (2017)
Stick It (2006)
Little Women (2019) & prior versions of it
Clueless (1995)
Spirited Away (2001)

Bend it, Clueless & Spirited Away are my favorites among these.

2 others that I'd be interested in watching because they feature Wynonna Ryder, Cher, Heath Ledger & Julia Stiles are:

Mermaids (1990)
10 Things I Hate About You (1999)

I just put them on my Netflix DVD watch list but, with the termination of the program on Sept 29th, I may not be able to watch them unless I'm willing to buy/resell them on eBay which is highly unlikely.

The demise of Blockbuster and Netflix DVD program that put Blockbuster out of business is a real tragedy for those of us who enjoy watching old movies and movies generally on are own terms; not the limited offerings available for streaming. ☹️

Cette après midi ça n'allait pas alors j'ai regardé un film très chou avec ma copine. Ça s'appelle "Are you there God? It's me, Margaret", c'est un centré sur une gamine de onze ans qui s'installe en banlieue de New York après la promotion de son père.

Pressions enfantines entre filles à l'arrivée de la puberté, premier émois avec les garçons, l'originalité se fait au niveau de la foi car son père est juif et sa mère catholique à été rejetée par ses parents à cause de ça.

Auch der aktuelle Roman von Joe R. Lansdale "Moon Lake" ist wieder so typisch für den Autor. Und trotzdem originell, krass und vor allem zutiefst menschlich. Danny und Ronny kämpfen in den 70er Jahren gegen den omnipräsenten Rassismus und gegen generationenübergreifende Verbrechen, die an Bösartigkeit kaum zu überbieten sind.
