In 2022, on the 100th anniversary, the #GreaterVictoriaSchoolDistrict issued an #apology for this & the #ChineseCommunity marched to #commemorate the actions of students who walked out in protest of the segregation.

This year, Russia’s annual May 9 celebrations to commemorate the Soviet Union’s victory against Nazi Germany will not include the traditional “Immortal Regiment” march where Russians commemorate their fallen.
