I just came across a README that was out of date with the code. Should we get rid of all READMEs too? Auth0 API documentation is often out of date with their implementation. Should we get rid of all #documentation too?
Or should we, as software developers, stop being so lazy?

I really don't understand why Mastodon doesn't have the ability to disable comments when making a post.

I was looking through a technology based org last year and saw a field name, no description, called chicken. My first reaction was chicken? WTF is chicken? Turns out there was actually a good reason for that field name, but that'd have been more clear if it had something in the description to explain. Better yet, field name of prefers chicken or some such.

I think some of that conversation is a bit of a misnomer of ‘engagement’ though. — for me, I have many more followers on #Twitter and get a wider variety of people #commenting. But Twitter feels like the drive-thru restaurant of #engagement where everybody is in such a hurry to get to the next post. #Mastodon feels like a sit down restaurant, or community pub where people want to sit for awhile. That may change, but I am enjoying the atmosphere right now
