I'm so tempted to tell the white Jesus people that a "*so pretty*" manger is actually a dung filled hovel that presents as a hard choice between going in and staying out.

And then spelling it out derisively: Jesus was born on a dung heap! Get it?

Now that #Mastodon is gaining popularity, my concern is that over time, businesspeople and #corporations would come and #commercialise this place. Then everything would be flooded with ads of some kind and the nice community of real people would suffer. Kind of a digital #gentrification.
Is this an unrealistic concern or what do you think?
