I just brought back a #commodore1541 back from the dead by replacing a dead ROM chip and replacing all old single-wipe sockets with new dual-wipe ones. The new ROM made it spring back to life but it was still flaky and crashy until I replaced the sockets. Just cleaning wasn’t enough!

Back in 1986 I would have been a bad ass mofo with this stack. In 2022, still am! ;)
