They are supposed to be quite common and not even shy, still it took me several years to get one in front of the camera. Weighing only a little over 5 grams... The #CommonFirecrest... Such beauty!

Time for one of the tiniest and definitely cutest birds of Europe, the #CommonFirecrest!

It's incredibly small, incredibly cute and sadly for me incredibly active. This was the only good photo out of many attempts to capture it foraging between all these twigs.
