I'm a #writer, #photographer, former #journalist, nonprofit #communicationsprofessional, #Linux and #FOSS hobbyist, #worldtraveler, #doglover, and old-school #watchnerd (mechanical watch technology is completely obsolete but utterly fascinating -- I'll never go smartwatch).

I've known about and been intrigued by #Mastodon for years, but I didn't find my way here until now, for the same reason as the rest of the recent flood.
