Does anyone have a himem.sys or similar XMS driver that works with the ROM-DOS on the Nokia Communicator 9000/9910/9910i? I need a method to access the memory above 1M from DOS.

Am 15. August 1996 stellte #Nokia mit dem 9000 das erste Smartphone vor.
Das Klapphandy hatte eine vollständige Tastatur, einen breiten Display und neben Kontakten und Kalender war FAX und Email sowie statisches Web möglich.
Mit einem Preis von mehr als 2500 DM war der Kundenkreis im Businessbereich angesiedelt.
Ich hab tatsächlich noch irgendwo zwei Folgemodelle 9210 weiß das #kalenderblatt

And yes I know all those wireless keyboards that exost and the fact that someone converts new old stock #BackBerry keypads to #USB - not to nention the various USB Tablet Cases..
But I do want something like the #Nokia #Communicator or #Motorola #Fliput in terms of #size and form.

I met a lot of people through it. I still remember the thrill of using it's "radar" to find someone to talk to-it even had an accurate sound of "scanning"🥹
It's a shame I can no longer use it. Just for the #sentimental reasons.
