I really like community fridges and pantries.

Local food banks and pantries are good for taking care of folks who would otherwise go without, but they often require that you apply for and be approved for assistance.

Community Fridges are just places that folks can share and take food as needed. No means testing. Just give and take. They are also fairly straightforward to set up without a lot of overhead, minimal coordination, and startup costs when compared to food banks.

A goal for post-scarcity is that everyone is fed for free, regardless of income or status.

The Lawrence Community Fridge uses the bird app to embed fridge-content-updates on our website for folks who don't have instagram or who use screenreaders, but I'd certainly love to migrate.
