A #wellbeingeconomy is a post capitalist goal which builds wellbeing for all. #communitywealthbuilding is the practical means to achieve that with #democraticeconomy at its heart.

All progressive agendas need to practically do something, otherwise they are just virtue signalling. So when some use terms like #wellbeingeconomy, we need deep practice such as #communitywealthbuilding to keep WE on a true economic change action focussed path.

Got my head in #CommunityWealthBuilding and doughnut economics this morning. The inspiring Immy Kaur talking to us about the civic & social infrastructure in #Birmingham - this phrase ‘develop islands of coherence in our own situation and connect to other islands’ has deeply resonated with me.

The move from extractive to regenerative is happening, has to continue, has to scale at pace. And we have to realise and shout about how far adrift we are - locally, nationally, globally.
