Today Sue went to clean the hall,
I joined her later to clean the church.
Sorted some emails,
And did some research.
Online trade shopping,
And admin for a client job.
Went to the #CommunityWorkshop,
To repair a 4kVA generator.
Drew up a sketch for an odd shaped gate,
And sourced some scrap for hinges.
Did caretaking,
And cleaning.
Checked on parents,
They are still good.
Caught up on YouTube,
So many videos today!
Sorted tools and lunch,
Ready for #RepairCafe tomorrow.
Tired now,
And eyes are sore.

Today we packed some tools,
And went to the #CommunityWorkshop.
I worked on securing a ring beam,
On to the front of the workshop.
Also helped with some other tasks,
And making sure the site was safe.
Took parents for their Covid booster,
That took longer than expected.
Dragged out an old garden gate,
And disc cut off all the fancy scroll work.
Went to do caretaking,
And returning all the wheelie bins.
Did laundry for parents,
And made sure they were ok.
Wrote a proforma invoice,
And got paid by the client.
DId a load of research,
And designed the simple project.
Now tired,
And eyes are sore.

Today we loaded some tools,
And went to the #CommunityWorkshop.
I installed three more plywood boards,
Lining the inside of the container.
Drove into Manchester,
And had a team meeting.
Then had a job appraisal with my manager.
Explained my feelings about my job,
Then negotiated a suitable alternative role.
Drove home to do caretaking,
And sort a few messages.
Check on parents,
They are ok.
Caught up on YouTube,
And tried to wind down.
Hay fever is a pain in the eyes,
Really not happy about it.
Off to bed though,

Today we packed a few tools,
And went to the #CommunityWorkshop.
We had to pick up some screw fasteners on the way, and then got stuck waiting on the swing bridge.
We had to tidy the space,
To make room to work.
That lead to some irritation,
But we got on with ply lining.
Afterwards we stayed behind and tidied the workshop again,
And then popped to the supermarket.
Had a late lunch,
Then fell asleep on the sofa.
Checked on parents,
Dad needs more meds ordering.
Testing paint stripping with brake fluid,
Not holding out much hope.
Watched a bit of YouTube and TV,
But really tired now.

Helped set in 12No 100x100mm green oak posts,
That will support the outdoor canopy.
Hitched up my trailer,
We left it there with a bulk bag of stone.
Home and parked up outside the house,

Found we've 'lost' a spade.
Did the caretaking,
And some cleaning and tidying.
Checked on parents,
Briefly to save my stress levels.

Feeling a little better this morning, after yesterday.
Gotta make a circular saw guide before setting off to the #CommunityWorkshop.

Today we went to the #CommunityWorkshop,
And moved a load of heavy oak beams.
Then tried screwing plywood to the container sides,
But the self drilling screws couldn't cut it!
Took Mum to her appointment,
And got another book recommendation from her Professor.
Did a few emails,
And the caretaking.
Checked on Dad,
He is still doing well.
Sorted tools for tomorrow,
For a long day in Manchester.
Tired now,
Off to bed.

And and inducted a new repair volunteer.

Dad is looking better.
Watched a little YouTube,
And set the clocks to BST.
Suddenly it is an hour later,
So guess it must be time for bed.

And helped check the post spike locations.
I set in concrete kerbs,
To extend the access ramp.

To wait for Dad to be brought home.

And arranged the district nurse.
Checked Dad's diabetes,
And had a chat with him.

Yesterday felt like a Friday as there was a Cutting Edge Engineering Australia YouTube video, and they only come out on a Friday!

Today feels like a Thursday as we have been at the #CommunityWorkshop today, doing concrete work.

I guess, on that basis, tomorrow must be a Wednesday then!

We're home early from site work at the #CommunityWorkshop.
The critical stuff is done, so we left the rest for another day.

Lets see how much reading I get done waiting in for Dad to be delivered home.

Today we folded the car seats,
And hitched the trailer.
We went to the allotment,
Where it was freezing rain and snow.
We loaded timber, hardware, and woodwork benches,
And took it to the #CommunityWorkshop.
Everything was unloaded,
And put away.
A road trip around all the local Lidl shops,
Until I found and bought a welder.
It will be sent to a lovely friendly chap,
Who always wanted to try welding.

Been sorting out Dad as he has a hyper,

A cold and early start today. We are off to the allotment to removed the work benches and the last of the timber from the store for the #WorkingInWood group to take to the new #CommunityWorkshop.

Our roof trusses for the Community Workshop arrived over an hour early!
All had a mad rush to get on site to help unload and carry onto the work site.
We only had the low pitch trusses off the lorry, but 20 of them at 90kg each.

It was hard going on only one mouthfull of my morning coffee.
