My mountain bike I bought in high school is old enough to drink this year. It's been used on and off as a commuter over the years. I installed studded tires on it today. Now I can use it in winter weather and icy roads. My electric cargo bike is my daily commuter, but the mountain bike still has a place in the stable. #CommuteByBike #WinterCycling

I've been a year-round bike commuter for two years now. In 2022 I rode 1,285 miles (2,068 km), of which 905 miles (1,456 km) were for transportation (commutes, errands, etc.). Most notably, this two-year strong lifestyle change helped convince my wife that we no longer needed my car, and as of last week we are a 1-car family!
