Say you do speak back, make a scene. You don't know who you're dealing with, and for someone like me who is petite and small, how do I not know this person is gonna get back at me at another time or follow me home? We stay silent and pray this is just a one time incident and try to move on. The feeling of powerlessness is real. Fight back, you might get hurt. Don't fight back but get harassed. It's a no win situation.
