Lund is a lovely city. I live in southern Sweden and used to commute 15 years ago when I was studying at university and went through Lund.

Even at that time, I didn't need to own a car because public transportation had priority and was functioning.

Sometimes I got stuck in Lund waiting for an hour, because I missed the train swap. Even when this happened it was a nice moment to catch up on podcasts and take a break getting a "fika" (coffee break) at the places at the station. Even when you get stuck, you get a nice break.

This is nothing compared to when I was commuting by car, driving for an hour and had some close scares almost falling asleep at the wheel. Going by train on the Öresundståg, the worst thing that could happen was you'd wake up in Denmark... not dead in a ditch LOL.
