I have found myself #complaining about the small, #unimportant things that are more #annoying than #life-altering, but complaining about the big, #important things that are life-altering is either pointless or too much trouble when you're just struggling to get through the day.

I don’t get it.. why do all the people who don’t like #starfield (or any other whatever) feel the urge to keep posting about how they don’t like it? If you don’t like something, just don’t use it and move on, let other people have their fun with it.. I’m not telling other people I don’t like dancing or that I don’t sing in the shower? Do those people just need the rush of being heard? Or can’t they stand other people having fun with something they don’t like? #gaming #complaining

I dread it because I don't handle people well. It's a group class, 1 hour. I just have to do something to take care of my cardiovascular health. Haven't run in years, bike isn't an option. So I'm going to the pool. People, take care of your backs. 😔

To which I say: sometimes the government #indicts a #ham #sandwich. But other times, they indict the #miller, the #baker, the #farmer, and the #pig. This is the latter.

It's still negative degrees, the heater is on but isn't making me toasty. I want to be in bed, but Greg is working.

I have my next covid vax on Wednesday, and I'm already regretting it - like, I love vaccines and will always get all of them.. but wew boi do I get bad reactions. It's going to knock me on my arse for a few days.

I want the house to be unpacked already, and am seriously considering just setting the garage on fire - that would get rid of the boxes and warm me up.

Things were bad before, but with the recent trauma to our family, we're so much worse than we ever thought possible.

Fighting for shelter alone has taken everything out of us, but also needing food, meds, pet supplies, storage, etc... Where we are in California things are SO expensive.

Can this school year end so I can stop getting every mid tier virus even with my kid masking. Please. As much as I don't have the energy to entertain a hyper kid all day during the summer, I'm really tired of being sick. Thankfully, not COVID19 remix, but still. Like, I don't even have any soup or any sort of good sick people food, i don't even have bread and barely have milk left. Can the universe just let me exist in peace, please?

Ah, infinite scrolling, my beloathed. Mastodon's implementation is way better than most, since I can click to a post or user and then come back to where I left off, but still.

I get that Mastodon is a firehose-style platform but I sure wish there was some way to just pick a day and view all the posts on my feed from that day instead of scrolling down and down and down until the Firefox tab grinds to a halt.
