This is already a quite long thread but it seems I might have stumbled upon a #Compose compiler bug and my usage of `rememberUpdatedState` would actually not be required if the compiler worked as expected.

Oh nice, I cobbled together a #docker #compose file to get #tailscale running in a docker #container as an exit node. Instant #VPN with access to my home lab without opening a router port. This tailscale thing is pret-ty handy.

I have a valid use case now for a `MutableState` of `@Composable () -> Unit` lamba to insert some dynamic content somewhere else in the #Compose tree. It feels wrong but it works 😅

I've realized I don't need #docker #swarm, I just need to manage a fleet of servers running #compose

I'd like to set it up using #ansible, so that I deploy new versions to the servers.

I'm very tempted to use using the shell instead of the community.docker collection. Is it a really bad idea? it feels like I have more control and can understand what's going on.

Also, it's going to be "copy docker compose -> run docker-compose up -d", I don't think the collecting adds anything of value.

And I don't have to install the dependencies everywhere... what am I missing?

Does anybody have any suggestions for an #opensource #selfhosted #kanban platform that is not based on #postgresql with a preference for #sqlite or something like that. Ideally, I want to be able to just launch one container and have it up and going. I am starting to reconsider if #Podman was really the right choice over #Docker for my #production instances, because otherwise I'd happily just be loading up #compose files.

Bitte unbedingt die Version 2.18.1 nutzen!

Von dem was ich auf #GitHub gelesen habe, ist das Problem schon gefixt und der Fix kommt dann mit dem nächsten Release.

With all that in mind, I'm leaning towards keeping things "simple" by just using #Docker #Compose, and making custom #Wolfi images where needed (PHP-FPM + APCu).

At least with Docker Compose, I can run the same script inside a Vagrant box for local testing. That's not to say I couldn't do that with everything (Nomad, Consul, Vitess), but it's a lot less work right now.

I'm still not sure where #HashiCorp #Packer fits into the picture, if it even does. 🤔

I'll have to revise my feelings on #DockerCompose ... Using some shared components it's quite usable.

`docker-compose -f _common/shared.yml -f project/docker-compose.yml --env _common/shared.env up`

works, and it's a sh*tton more readable than my #Ansible stuff ;)
