It gives me a direct “feed” to the really soft, warm sound coming from the hammers hitting the strings. A total emotional connection. An unfiltered inspiration. I love it. ❤️

In the short, Akali learns an important lesson from her former Kinkou master when they encounter a young woodcutter upsetting the balance of Ionia.

J swiped a spoonful of mix from the bowl early enough in the process to possibly have thrown out the proportions, I nearly forgot to double the amount of buttermilk, then once it was in the oven, I realised I'd failed to buy cream cheese (for frosting) yesterday but by then the shops were closed. Also the test cakes have come out rather flatter than I recall. This is why practice exists... #rehearsal #composerlife #performerlife

This small navy blue book is the end of a 23-year journey. From the moment I expressed the desire to attend Berklee College of Music, to moving to Boston, graduating, moving to Los Angeles, working under a Practical Training permit, finding a full time job, getting an H1-B visa, renewing it, getting my green card, and finally becoming a citizen–it all led to this.
