Calling #composter colleagues. I have a very small garden now and no space for the wooden slatted compost bins I have relied on for the past thirty years. I am considering a small square bin made of recycled plastic, which has a hatch at the bottom to access the compost, and no turning required. Do these work as satisfactorily as traditional bins? And how long before usable compost is available?
