63 followers · 47 posts · Server mastodon.onlineWhen I started graduate school 20 years ago I was inspired by the idea of #ComputationalThinking (particularly diSessa's notion) because I felt "seen" in how I experienced coding and problem solving. I still love the idea, but it is a struggle to see how divergent the definitions remain, and how inconsistent. Also, I wrestle with a desire to recognize it everywhere, and the way some definitions seem to water it down excessively. More work to be done!
