one thing i appreciate about the #ArmoredCore patch: everything was #buffed, nothing was #nerfed, per se. based on feedback, you would expect #From to nerf Zimmermans, gatlings, etc. instead they simply made underperforming weapons better.

there's nothing worse than turning on a #ComputerGame you've been playing for months only to find that your favorite class/weapon/spell/ability suddenly hits like a #PillowFight

need to explore every nook and cranny of #computergame environments can be counterproductive to the intent of the devs.

but, designers should design around this human urge to explore; classic #jrpgs often have multiple paths that lead to void; no treasure, no story significance, nothing.

let's say you know which path to take to the boss, clearly labeled, but there's another path right next to it. that path should have a payout but noticing often doesn't

#SocialMedia is a type of #ComputerGame where you have to sift through the noise to find posts to like a boost.

In my semester holidays i've learned so far or i'm currently learning:

- the programming language Rust
- how to create a LoRA for Stable Diffusion (Image AI)
- how to fine-tune a Text AI (with further training)

- NVidia CUDA is really annoying with it's version control and horrible with compatibility between versions
- (ana)conda and windows are hating each other
- Genshin Impact is a really beautiful and nice game!

Why is it that every time I get into a sandbox #computerGame, I quickly bump up against "and now, the part of the game where you write C# (or Lua or worse, some custom language)"?

I just finished #Celeste -- what an incredible #computerGame! I have seldom played a #JumpnRun that demanded so much perfection yet was so encouraging and supportive on the way. I died a humble 1887 times, yet would continue for hours on end and never wanted to give up.

I enjoyed the challenges the game posed: not just skill-based but also requiring some thought as to what approach to take -- almost like real climbing :)

Highly recommended -- even the story is great! ❤️

I haven't yet finished playing #VirtuaVerse, but an #Amiga 500 #demo is integral to the plot, and I don't think any more needs to be said. Play it in the classic mode, not the new "story mode". You'll probably need a walkthrough to get through some parts, but the puzzles are a lot of fun.

Despite my high interest in retro games so do i play far more new games than retro ones.

Okay, this is a complete shot in the dark.

I'm trying to remember the name of a #ComputerGame from the #1980s. It might have been for the #TRS80, the #BBCMicro (#BBCMicrocomputer), or #PC. It was a #moonbase building #sim, and that's about all I remember except that at some point aliens suddenly attempted to invade.
