Today sucks, I was running into problems with my Fedora install on my desktop today, couldn't install anything, having crash after crash. Segmentation faults, then I could not boot into the OS. Tried to reinstall, I could not boot into the new install.

Finally I get out a copy of memtest86+ and... Well let's just say I got to get new ram for it... ( ╥ω╥ )

Luckily I got some on order so I should be good. But for now, I am relegated to my trusty Thinkpad T480.

First time in a long time I have ever had ram go bad on me. Last time was on an old hp laptop I had over a decade and a half ago that had only 2gb of ram running Ubuntu.

Me: "Then you probably could not print because you didn't turn the printer on. I'm heading back home."

Yet again, my dad handling a document required the burning of fossil fuels.

Also glad I only gave him a Chromebox. He would get in more trouble with a more flexible machine.

anyone here using nextcloud and having issues with their desktop app? it hogs all my system memory, jamms up all the time trying to sync but when i reboot the sync is already complete. I just don't know what is the issue.

Remeber when I talked about my new PC yesterday?

Well, seems like it's not working... It shows lights, the fan makes noises but the monitor dosen't show any image when I plug it into the PC...
I tried 2 monitors (normal monitor and drawing pad). I wonder if it would work with VGA but I do not have a monitor that supports that.

There are a couple of games (Cities Skylines and Fallout 4, both via Steam) that will play for anywhere from 15 min to an hour or so before my computer just spontaneously crashes and restarts itself. I'm running Windows 10. I relatively recently upgraded the memory and replaced my heat sink. The video card is only a couple years old, too. I can't imagine it's the power supply. I literally do not have this problem any other time.
