#ComputerUpgrade
I'm replacing my twelve year old Windows PC with a much faster new one that I'm building. I hoped to transfer my operating system by just moving my C drive to the machine, but the BIOS won't recognize it as a boot drive because it's formatted as an MBR, which is incompatible with the new BIOS. My plan is to purchase a new ssd and install a clean copy of Windows. Does anyone know how I can save my applications without having to install them individually? Any help is greatly appreciated.
I think itโs time to upgrade my desktop. Currently have a 10 year old i7-3770K ๐ Thinking about the Ryzen 7 7700 or 7700X, any thoughts?
I want to upgrade my linux laptop and want to have the same apps / programs installed in the new one. Is there a clever way of arranging it so that the new computer has the same software as the old one? A magic batch script perhaps?
